The first step to digital scrapbooking is choosing and installing the right software for you. There are three main things to consider when choosing your digital scrapbooking software. The good news is many of the top software brands offer a free trial. I show you links to those later in this article. First I want you to think about what will be important to you as a digital scrapbooker.
- How much time and money do have to devote to digital scrapbooking? The more advanced the program, the more it will cost and the longer it will take to learn.
- Are you interested in being able to edit, adjust and crop your photos before adding them to your pages? If so you will want a photo editing software, not just a digital scrapbooking software.
- How creative do you want to get? Do you truly want to create something of your own or is adding your own pictures and text to already stunning pages good enough. If the later is true a program with ready made pages may be the way to go.
